March | Laguna Beach

NEWS | March 2026

Thrilled to introduce to you my newest Collection LAGUNA BEACH. As a young girl my mom made a special outing for my sister and I to Laguna Beach where we could experience the waves, sandy beaches and tide pools. “Our Beach” was at Cress Street. Do any of you remember the Purple Cow Ice Cream Parlor, right there on the corner of PCH and Cress?

Many years later, in the early 1970’s, while finishing up grad-school, I moved to a darling apartment on Sunset Terrace. Just for fun, I have to tell you, that my rent with an ocean view was $275/mo and included utilities.

One of the greatest aspects of this precious town is the unique quality of it’s shorelines. These photographs of beaches and landscapes have been taken over many years, and I still visit the same spots regularly. For me, it has always been about the depth of color and geology of our particular coastline. The blues and aquas can be so brilliant, it really takes your breath away. I hope you enjoy the collection and visiting Laguna Beach through my eyes.

I have always been interested in supporting individual artists and art organizations of which each month I will be highlighting their work.

Each Friday I will be offering an 8x10 print giveaway which will be a weekly event. The winner each week will be able to go to my entire collection on the website crhoadespics.com and choose which print they would like. All entry information can be found on the website here.

Christine Rhoades Photography is happy to support your next fundraiser with a complimentary 16x20 print. Contact: Christine@crhoadespics.com

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you Holly Morrell who has been saving lives through her screening of hearts both young and old. She founded the most incredible non-profit that identifies potential cardiac conditions and offers her screenings at a fraction of the price that would be charged normally. Both myself and my children have participated in her screenings and I encourage any of you now learning about her non-profit, to take advantage.

FEATURED ORGANIZATION
Holly Morrell | Heartfelt Cardiac Project

Over 1,000 Lives Saved - And Counting!

Heartfelt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built on one deeply personal mission: to prevent Sudden Cardiac Death through early detection. For over 26 years, this work has helped save over 1,000 lives by identifying hidden heart conditions before they became tragedies. Each comprehensive, non-invasive screening provides approximately $1,500 worth of cardiac evaluation in a single appointment - offering families either the priceless reassurance of peace of mind or the opportunity for life-protecting intervention.

Hearfelt believes everyone deserves access to this kind of care. You can join a community screening event, schedule a more private appointment in the office, choose the comfort and convenience of a screening in your own home, or even bring Heartfelt directly to your workplace.

Please consider supporting Heartfelt and visit our website for detailed information and many inspirational stories of LIVES SAVED!
