The Canyon Club hosts its 9th annual Golf Classic on September 20, 2025 at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. This year's event will include golf, dinner, silent auction, and a helicopter golf ball drop that is sure to attract many supporters. The silent auction will feature exciting items including a stunning Framed Polar Bear 24x36 photograph and a Solo Flight Coastal trip in a Cessna, both generously donated by Christine. Proceeds will benefit The Canyon Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation providing support for the recovery and rehabilitation of alcoholics and their families.
Located in Rancho Santa Margarita, the Ted Robinson-designed Tijeras Creek Golf Club is the tale of two nines. The distinctive course layout at Tijeras Creek opens with a demanding front nine that is highlighted with shimmering water features that come into play in three out of the first nine holes. The back nine holes are legendary for the breathtaking scenery, and awe-inspiring elevation changes that wind through old growth sycamores, oaks and native chaparral. In fact, hole number sixteen was voted one of Orange County's Best 18 Holes by members of the Southern California PGA.
Tijeras Creek's tournament event coordinator, Mike McChristie, will again provide curb-to-curb service to ensure a memorable and successful event for our participants, volunteers, and attendees. The tournament coordination package at Tijeras Creek includes: personalized cart signs, personalized scorecards, complete posting of scores, longest drive contests, closest to the pin contests, and putting contests. Lunch and dinner will also be provided to golf participants, volunteers, and attendees.
